It was pretty obvious at the outset that not zeroing the optic was an exceedingly bad idea. I was about 4" low on everything, and timed out on the first 3 tables. I managed to record a couple scores on the later tables, but was essentially terrible. Amazingly, I ended up 15th out of 30.
Having never done this type of thing before, I can't say that I'm an expert evaluator, but the guys from my office seemed to run everything pretty efficiently and professionally. I sure enjoyed it, and I heard a bunch of other people say the same thing. I will definately be back for the next one.
I will also be headed to the range to zero this thing.
