Yep, its the bomb. My little .45 acp started life as a standard Mark IV Series 80 Colt 1911. As you can see, just about every major portion of the firearm has been modified. Just to point out a few of the critical aspects:
- Barrel compensator
- Custom trigger
- Optima2000 red-dot sight machined to be level with old iron sight location
- Extended magwell, extended beavertail, etc...
This thing shoots like a champ using bulk Georgia Arms 185 grain ammo. I can only imagine what premium ammo would do in it.
