My Rem700P has been through several permutations, as I searched for a set-up I liked. The original setup, here, used the existing HS Precision stock, EGW 20MOA base and Burris XTR rings to hold my Leupold Mark 4 6.5-20.
I realized I wanted a more pistol-style grip, and a detachable mag system. I got an AICS with an AI bipod and rear monopod.
It was pretty good, but heavy. I also thought the grip was a little smallish, the AI bipod didn't lock for cant, and the whole set-up was just a little to high. I traded in the AICS for a McMillan A5 with Badger M5 DBM.
I think I like this the best so far. Big grip, lighter, and the Harris swivel with notched legs is a great setup. I also lowered the scope from XTR mediums to lows.
Now I want this in lefty...
